Fees, deposits, and refunds

What can be refunded

Fees are for time spent reading papers and writing a memo. A refund is about whether that work has started, not about whether a payment gateway later accepts your application. A decline by a platform is not a ground for a refund.

Deposits

A quote may ask for a deposit of 40% of the quoted fee before we accept a pack. The deposit holds a reading window of 15 working days from the date we confirm the pack is complete. If you do not send a complete pack within 30 days of paying the deposit, we may close the engagement and refund the deposit minus RM 250 for the inventory call already given, or the full deposit if no call took place.

Full refund

You receive a full refund of sums paid if we cancel because we cannot take the file (conflict, suspected forgery, or a pack that is not what the inventory described), and we have not started the reading. “Started” means we have opened the statements or reports you sent for the purpose of the memo, not that we have merely received the email.

Partial refund

If you cancel in writing before we start the reading, we refund sums paid minus RM 250 where an inventory call already happened, and minus any bank charges we cannot recover. If you cancel after the reading has started but before the memo is issued, we refund 50% of the remaining fee after the deposit, and we will send you whatever working notes exist, unedited. Once the memo is issued, the fee is earned in full.

Non-refundable items

The inventory call fee, when billed on its own, is non-refundable after the call has been held. Time spent on a follow-up reading that you requested in writing is non-refundable once that reading has started. We do not refund because you disagree with a send-or-wait recommendation.

Work already started, no-shows, rescheduling

If you miss a scheduled walk-through at Jalan Chan Chin Ann without 24 hours’ notice, we may charge RM 200 or treat that hour as used. You may reschedule an appointment once at no charge if you write to us at least one working day before. A second reschedule may move your reading window.

If we have already started reading and you ask us to pause, the deposit remains applied. A pause longer than 21 days may be treated as a cancellation under the partial-refund rule above.

Purchased materials

We do not buy materials for you. If you pay a third party for statements or SSM extracts, those costs sit with you and are not refundable by us.

How to ask

Write to reviews@cloudkernelpath.digital from the address on the quote, with the entity name and the date of the quote. We confirm in writing. Refunds, when due, are paid by the same method you used to pay us, in MYR, within 14 working days after we accept the request. We do not refund in processing credit or in gateway fee waivers — we are not a gateway.

Exceptions

If Malaysian law requires a different outcome in a particular case, that law prevails. These rules do not cover products we do not offer: physical goods, courses, subscriptions, or payment processing.
